Event support

We have been helping to organise and deliver successful paddlesport coaching events for over ten years. During that time, we have worked with event organisers in the UK and overseas in many different key roles, including:

Event Program: we can advise and support the creation of a program of coaching sessions that best match your client base, paddling environment and coaching team.

Client session choice: we pioneered and developed a session grading / client experience self-assessment that permits your clients to make informed decisions about their session choices before the event commences. This flexible system enhances clients compatibility, suitability of session choice and client satisfaction. It also supports the coach to deliver quality sessions and reduces the number of sessions changes during an event.

Coach organisation / support: we can provide structure and support to your coaching team via coach meetings (pre- and post-sessions), advice on session structure, content and location. we can also deliver pre-event development sessions to enhance the coaching practices of your team.

Event Safety: we have great experience of delivering safe, well-organised coaching events across the years. We can provide advice on pre-event client / coach information, safety briefings, risk assessments and mitigation. Our expertise gained over decades of coaching event support is a potential asset for any event organising team.

Entertainment & Atmosphere: we’ve not shirked this vital role at events in the past! We recognise that the vibe created by successful coaching events is due in no small part to the activities and atmosphere created off the water. We can advise, support – and even deliver! – a range of post-paddling entertainments that will ensure your clients are quick to return, and to bring their friends. We also understand the pitfalls and problems of this subtle element of event organisation.
